This page lists every cookie raddivus.com sets, what each one is for, and how long it lasts. It covers this marketing site. The Raddivus app at app.raddivus.com is a separate product and sets its own cookies, described in its own notice.

The short version: we measure how the site is used and which ads work. Nothing here sells your data, and you can switch all of it off in one click.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. On the next page you load, the browser hands it back. It is how a site remembers anything at all between one page and the next.

This notice also covers technologies that behave like cookies: localStorage, pixels, and tags. Where we say "cookies" below, we mean all of them.

2. The two things you can turn off

Essential. Always on. It is only the record of your cookie choice and the country hint that makes that choice work. There is no tracking in this group and nothing to opt out of.

Analytics. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Which pages get read, how far people scroll, and where the site is confusing. Clarity also records anonymised session replays: mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks, so we can watch where a page loses people. Replays are of the page, not of you, and Clarity masks text you type by default.

Advertising. When you arrive from an ad, the ad platform adds an identifier to the link. We keep it so we can tell which campaign produced a signup rather than guessing. It also lets the ad platforms measure their own results and build audiences.

3. What runs before you choose

It depends on where you are, because the law does. We work this out from your approximate location and from your browser, not from anything you tell us.

UK, EU, EEA and Switzerland. Nothing analytics or advertising related runs until you press Accept. That is the default and it is not negotiable.
Browsers sending a Global Privacy Control signal. Advertising is off before you do anything. See section 5.
Everywhere else. Analytics and advertising run, and the banner tells you so. You can switch them off at any point and it takes effect immediately.

4. Every cookie we set

Cookies named rdv_* are ours and are set on .raddivus.com, which means the Raddivus app at app.raddivus.com can read them. That is deliberate: it is what lets a signup in the app be connected back to the campaign that started it.

Google Tag Manager loads the tags above but sets no cookies of its own. If we add a tag later, its cookies are added to this table.

5. Changing your mind

Open at any time. It is also in the footer of every page. A change applies immediately, without a reload.

Turning everything off deletes the rdv_attr_first, rdv_attr_last and rdv_visits cookies straight away. Cookies already set by Google or Microsoft are removed on their schedule, or immediately if you clear them in your browser settings. Every browser also lets you block or delete cookies wholesale, though blocking all cookies will break parts of most websites, including this one.

6. Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control is a setting your browser or an extension can send on your behalf. It says you do not want your personal information sold or shared for targeted advertising. Several US state laws treat it as a valid opt-out request.

We honour it automatically. When we detect a GPC signal, advertising cookies are off before the page finishes loading and we do not ask you again. You do not have to do anything else. Analytics stays on, because it is not a sale or a share, and you can still turn it off in preferences.

7. The third parties involved

Two companies process data through the tags on this site. Their own notices govern what they do with it.

Google (Tag Manager and Analytics). Google Privacy Policy. You can also opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with the browser add-on.
Microsoft (Clarity, session replay and heatmaps). Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Note that Clarity retains its session recordings on its own schedule. Deleting your Raddivus account does not delete them. Opting out of analytics here stops new recordings.

8. Questions and changes

This notice sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers everything we do with personal information, not just cookies. If the two ever disagree, tell us, because one of them is wrong.
